Description :
Un arbre atteignant 30 m de haut. Les feuilles sont simples et mesurent 5 à 6 cm de long. La veine autour du bord de la feuille est simplement visible sur la surface supérieure, mais elle est plus visible sous la feuille. Le fruit mesure 2,5 à 3 cm de diamètre. Ils sont suspendus individuellement ou en grappes soit dans les angles où les feuilles se rejoignent, soit à l'extrémité des branches. Le fruit est violet vif à maturité.
