Description :
Un arbre de taille petite à moyenne. Il a généralement des contreforts. Il peut atteindre 27 m de haut et 2 m de circonférence. Les branches sont vertes avec des zones brunes. Les feuilles sont aux extrémités des petites branches. Ils sont longs et arrondis. Ils mesurent 23 cm de long sur 9 cm de large. Ils ont un bord ondulé et festonné. La base de la feuille se rétrécit à la tige de la feuille. Les feuilles sont vert foncé et brillantes sur le dessus et ternes en dessous. Les nervures sont blanchâtres et proéminentes des deux côtés de la feuille. Il y a 7 à 8 paires de veines latérales. La tige de la feuille mesure environ 2,5 cm de long. Les fleurs se présentent en grappes de 6 à l'aisselle des feuilles. Les fleurs sont petites et blanc crème. Les fruits sont comme des sphères aplaties d'environ 7,5 à 10 cm de diamètre. Ils sont vert olive clair. La chair est orange et fibreuse avec 2-3 grosses graines. La pulpe a une odeur sucrée maladive.
