Description :
Un arbre de taille moyenne. Il atteint 24 m de haut. Le tronc peut mesurer 50 cm de diamètre. Le tronc est long et sans branches. Les membres s'étalent et la couronne est ronde. L'écorce est grise ou brun pâle et lisse. Il développe progressivement des fissures étroites. Les feuilles mesurent 12 à 20 cm de long avec 7 à 11 folioles. Le dépliant à la fin a à peu près la même taille que la dernière paire. Les folioles deviennent plus petites vers la base ou la tige des feuilles. Les folioles sont légèrement courbées et ont de fines dents. Ils sont brillants et vert foncé sur le dessus et plus pâles, velus et avec de petits points en dessous. Ils jaunissent en automne, les fleurs mâles et femelles sont séparées. Les fruits ont des lignes irrégulières le long de leur jeunesse. Les fruits sont les plus larges à l'extrémité.
