Un arbre. Il atteint 10 m de haut. Les jeunes parties ont des poils veloutés. Les feuilles sont disposées en alternance. La tige de la feuille est attachée à la face inférieure de la feuille. Les fleurs sont vert jaunâtre. Ils sont en longues panicules à l'aisselle des feuilles.
