Description :
Un arbre à croissance droite de taille moyenne. Il atteint 35 m de haut. Le tronc est droit et mesure jusqu'à 30 cm de diamètre. L'écorce est lisse et grise avec des taches blanches. Il peut avoir des contreforts jusqu'à 1 m de haut et des racines aériennes en forme de genou. Les feuilles sont en touffes à l'extrémité des rameaux courbés vers le haut. Les feuilles sont d'un vert terne ou jaunâtre, longues et effilées aux deux extrémités. Ils mesurent 4 à 11 cm de long sur 2 à 4 cm de large. La tige des feuilles mesure moins de 2,5 cm. Les fleurs sont en groupes de 2 à 5 sur les tiges à l'aisselle des feuilles. Les fleurs sont petites et mesurent 0,3 cm de diamètre.
